English-speaking staff that really accommodated usĪnd so, after about fourty minutes at the Sacher café, my friend and I walked away, smiling, recharged and content. High-end salon with paintings, very clean and welcoming ![]() Within less than ten minutes, we entered, and the rest was just a pleasure to experience. "Does anyone want to sit outside?" a tall Sacher staff member, impreccably dressed in a suit, asked the people waiting to get in, and a couple of male guests quickly sat down at a far-standing table for two. In front of us were not more than five groups of maximum two people each. We were staying, because I had already noticed a discrepancy between the reviews and reality: the line was tiny. I suspect that poor dessert also was waiting in a que for few days. or too proud " to figure out who ordered what, so just dropped everything on the table and we were sharing plates and cups by ourselves.īut how about desert ? Well, to be honest.Strudel was nice, but that piece of Sacher cake which we got. On the end - hello dirty table and green tea for 7 eur! However, it was a beautiful day in Vienna, so we were trying enjoy our time in this famous place. The biggest surprise was when we realised that more than half of the tables are free. For sure, we thought it will be something super duper WAU as so many people decided. We were standing in the que for 15 min what created a very busy place impression. In my opinion, this is one of the overrated place in this city.
